As part of their pursuit to raise a generation of hope and connect with the next generation of South Sudan through sports outreach and discipleship, Yenet continued to lead a group of young leaders this past month. While at Pagirinya Refugee Settlement, Milton leads young leaders through discipleship lessons by looking at the life of Joseph.
He shares, “Studying Jospeh’s life is especially relevant today because, like many refugees, he was in a foreign land, facing adversity, and uncertainty.”

Each month home fellowship leaders who belong to the Ibsa Abdia network gather together for a time of fellowship, equipping, encouraging, and helping each other work on their strategies.
Shadrach* shares about their latest gathering,
“We gather to share a simple meal of rice and beef pilau, tea and bread. We go around and each leader shares a brief update from their home fellowship and ideas for a way forward to reach his community.
Ministry is so challenging!”

Paul continues:
“In the morning, we paid the new driver the fee to continue the journey. He said the road is dangerous with more than 100 checkpoints. He warned us of the risk we were taking.
We started off. Check and go, check and go. We made it to the last checkpoint where I was taken for questioning. ‘Where are you coming from? Where are you going? What are you doing? Who do you know?’ So many questions.
