The story of Paynume, South Sudan

As Ever on Mission (EOM) launches out from its mission sending center located in Busia, they have identified Paynume as its next strategic center for a new church plant. From Busia, Paynume is the first village center you enter in South Sudan from Uganda.

The city center hosts the government headquarters, who anticipate a significant increase in population soon from the current 10,000 as refugees shift home. 

In an initial survey trip to Paynume, EOM leader Taban identified two families who will serve as hosts and influencers for the start of the new church plant. A follow-up visit served to cast vision and solidify these families as the persons of peace to launch an evangelistic outreach in the community, which is planned for the upcoming months. 

Together, let’s launch this new church plant.
