Meet Milton & Scovia
Serving women and youth displaced by decades of war, Yenet is a locally-led, South Sudanese and Ugandan ministry partnering with Known.
Co-founders, Milton and Scovia Mansuk, know firsthand the deep loss and burden of an uncertain future that accompanies war.
And yet, it is in the midst of hardship that the Mansuks see Jesus transforming lives among their South Sudanese brothers and sisters.
“I was born in war, raised in war and experienced war,” shares Milton.
“My relationship with Jesus Christ gave me the power to overcome all the challenges I was going through, and that’s the same feeling I have for other South Sudanese. Jesus gave me hope and now is an opportunity for me to share that hope.”
This is the heartbeat of Yenet — to raise a generation of hope, providing women and youth with opportunities to know Jesus and become the leaders South Sudan needs.

“Through Yenet, women will get to understand that pain, struggles and the suffering of now are temporary; they're not the end of life. There is always a way out,” Scovia shares.
And that way out is Jesus Christ.
The hope of Yenet is to share the truth of peace found in Christ – perfect peace that restores hope.
