Standing Strong
We are standing strong in our faith.
Global partner, Shadrach* shares how the gospel continues to advance amid some recent persecution.
“There is much happening here. We have been receiving discouragement from a few local Muslims who are seeking to intimidate us.
At night people throw stones at my house. They broke down the fence at our home. My family is scared, especially the children. I attempted to report these things to the police, but they are not acting. So, we pray. God is faithful in all.
Amidst this, the church is doing good and staying strong. Leaders keep pushing on in the work. They still lead home church fellowships every week. They are training new Christ followers in a new discipleship resource we are trying. We have plans to develop a new home church fellowship in the next few weeks.”
Shadrach shares this update a few days later:
“The stoning has stopped. This is the persecution we face. They are just trying to intimidate us, but we are standing strong in our faith. Please keep joining us in prayer.
We have already repaired the fence and started to build a perimeter wall now for the safety of my family especially while I am away.”
