Motivated to Rejoin School

He started having a desire and zeal to serve God and understand his calling.

We partner with David Taban and Ever on Mission to help equip and empower local leaders to advance the gospel within their own neighborhoods. Taban interviewed one of his student disciples and asked him to share a bit of his testimony of how God has been working in his life recently:

“Hello, my name Wani Shemaiah and I am a member of Ever on Mission. I want to give a brief testimony about this ministry, but first of all, I thank God for his amazing grace by which I am saved.

I also want to thank Pastor David Taban for introducing me to practical ministry. I can still remember the first trip of Ever on Mission to Busia two years ago. We had discipleship classes, evangelism, and meetings. We were going through the book of Romans. It was my first time to go through a book of the Bible like this. And this program changed my thoughts. I started having a desire and zeal to serve God and understand his calling.

As we continued our active involvement, we kept on building our personal relationship with God and with each other. As a result, I was encouraged to rejoin school (and not only me but most of the members) were motivated with the desire to rejoin school.

Since I began school this last year, I have always been involved with the mission of God - leading Bible studies, sharing the gospel, and making intentional friendships with each other. Though I am having many challenges due to traditional and religious beliefs that have taken many people captive. But the good news is that by the grace of God, his word is proclaimed.

I’m looking forward to sharing the gospel with more people for the glory of God and enhancing my personal evangelism skills. How I pray Ever on Mission will keep on equipping us with more knowledge to do this good work. Thank you.”
