Leadership Summit Serves as a Significant Awakening
A call to establish new home fellowships.
David Lual with Community Network Ministries (CNM) shares a little about a recent leadership summit and the challenge to advance the gospel and start new home fellowships:
“The 2024 Leadership Summit served as a significant awakening for our participants. We successfully gathered a group of sixty men and twenty women leaders, guiding them through the principles of pioneer evangelism and indigenous church planting. The summit was both inspiring and compelled many leaders to move forward in action.
During the summit, attendees identified gaps in their Christian journeys, leading to moments of repentance and personal transformation. Secondly, they recognized that evangelism and church multiplication do not necessarily require financial resources or formal clergy status. Rather, they demand a heart willing to obey Christ’s call. We placed a considerable emphasis on the importance of obedience to this calling and the necessity of establishing indigenous churches.
The primary challenge we encountered was the limited time available to study all that we had hoped to cover during our few short days. However, many participants experienced a profound transformation and departed with a renewed passion to make disciples and multiply churches. Most participants expressed a desire for ongoing support to strengthen their efforts in evangelism and church development.
Following the summit, four leaders have actively established home fellowships and are on track to establish new church plants this month. We thank God for this!”
