God’s love is found in a new faith family.
As part of its overall mission, Yenet focuses on discipling and developing women leaders through locally-led, Christ-centered communities. Life change occurs in these communities. Yenet shares Jesca’s story of how she has experienced God’s love through Yenet.
“Jesca is a mother of four. She has called the Pagirinya Refugee Settlement home since 2017, when war forced her to flee South Sudan. Orphaned at a young age, Jesca was raised by her grandmother, who instilled in her a strong sense of hard work and resilience. Those values now guide her as she tirelessly provides for her two sons and two daughters despite the immense challenges of refugee life.
Jesca’s journey took a remarkable turn when she attended her first Yenet Ministries Women’s Conference. There, she said, she found an unexpected sense of belonging and care. For the first time, she felt God’s love so powerfully expressed through the ministry’s outreach. “Now I have a family - sisters and mothers. I’m not alone,” Jesca shared. “I have people I can turn to for encouragement, love, and support - all because of God.”
Her story is one of incredible transformation. From a place of despair, Jesca has found renewed hope, strength, and purpose. She now inspires others with her perseverance and courage. Yenet Ministries continues to shine as a testament to God’s love, proving that even in the most challenging circumstances, lives can be restored and renewed.
And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
