Encouraging Students

Trusting God for the future.

Yenet partners with schools in Gulu, where many South Sudanese refugee students are enrolled, to provide mentorship, discipleship, and leadership development.

This month, Milton spoke to over 900 students at two high schools—Gulu Central High School and Graceland Girls High School. He shared his story and challenged them with two Bible verses:

Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Milton encouraged students to trust God’s plan for their future, even when the path seems unclear. He challenged them to seek God’s guidance in their decisions and have faith in His direction for their lives.
