A call to share hope.
Jesus gave him hope, and he now shares Jesus with others like him.
H* was a Muslim at the time he heard the gospel. Curious, he decided to read the Bible by himself. The more H* read, the more he was interested in reading the Bible and even sharing it with others. He had a desire to become a pastor and saw there was a need for him to go to school to learn more. Recently, H* got an opportunity to attend Bible School. After studying just one term, H* asked if he would get the opportunity to share the word of God with the congregation in the church. H* stood in the church and started preaching. Everyone in the church was shocked by the way H* handled the Word of God.
One thing he said was, “It has not been long since I left Islam and came to Jesus, but I have seen tremendous change in my life. I was smoking and doing bad things when I was Muslim. But more importantly, I didn’t have hope for my life. But after I accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, my life changed. I believe this is my calling: to help people in the darkness, like I was, to come and join Christ who will change their lives and give them hope.”
