Alternative Reading Plans

When your group takes a break for the holidays or a few weeks over the summer, it’s essential to maintain the daily rhythm of reading the Bible and connecting with the Lord. Equally important is staying aligned with your group’s focus by reading passages that complement the group guide discussion during regular meetings. 

To help you stay consistent and connected, here is a 12-week plan of alternate readings to use during your group downtime thoughtfully organized around meaningful and impactful themes.

    • Monday: Genesis 1:1-25 — Creation of the world

    • Tuesday: Genesis 1:26-31 — Creation of mankind

    • Wednesday: Psalm 19 — The heavens declare God’s glory
