Open Doors for Further Ministry

The EOM network takes next steps.

Taban with Ever on Mission (EOM) shares about his vision trip as part of their strategic plan to advance the gospel. He shares:

“The vision trip to Morobo went well. I was able to meet with the area headman. He told me that his brothers would finish their discussion and communicate back with me about working in the area and the availability for a piece of land.

I am still praying for a person of peace who could serve as a potential leader to further develop. I did meet a local church deacon who can help serve to connect with other Evangelical churches on the ground. He has appreciated the vision for the church plant and is willing to cooperate when the time comes.

I prayed for a possible venue that could accommodate a local team for evangelism. The man who hosted me is very willing to let his home tukuls/grass-roofed houses if the time comes. That is an answer to prayer.

I also met with the other local official to introduce myself and share EOM’s purpose for visiting Morobo. He was in agreement for the church to be started and to help in the process of getting a piece of land.

God blessed this trip and opened some doors for further ministry in Morobo. Next steps include:

1. Build out more specific goals for Morobo in our strategic plan for 2025.

2. Start paperwork to secure a piece of land after being assured by the landlord/headman.

3. Continue communication with the local deacon to help with our upcoming team evangelism trips.

4. Pray for God to call a person to lead the new church in Morobo.

5. Start soliciting resources for this church plant.
