A Disciple-Making Culture

Taban and Ever on Mission (EOM) are seeking to advance the gospel of Jesus in the region of northern Uganda, southern South Sudan, and northeast DR Congo.

This area is known by locals as Salia Musala which is the region where Uganda, DR Congo, and South Sudan all share a border.

EOM recently held a summit meeting in Busia where to reassess their 5-year vision and goals for this upcoming year towards making Busia a strategic church planting and mission hub for the Salia Musala Region.

Taban shares, “We are trying to develop a disciple-making culture in which all team members get engaged in all-round discipleship: one-on-one, apprenticeships, classes, and formal and informal group discussions. This has made the team function uniquely from other teams here. Every member is accountable not only to the team, but also to every member. Mentorship is practiced voluntarily and has been so very effective.”

We love coming alongside our partners assisting in further developing strategies that help church leaders grow and advance the gospel.
